This is a fantastic size leather tote bag. It has a nice sturdy base which is Ideal for carrying laptops, heavy books or even a cheeky bottle of wine! It also has a handy front patch pocket for quick access for your daily essentials.

When you arrive all of the components for your bag will be cut and ready to be assembled. No need to bring anything but your lovely selves and possibly a camera & notepad to document your project.

We have the option for Black, tan brown, dark green, navy, purple and light fawn grey leather for this hobo bag

The metal component choices are gold, silver or antique brass. During the checkout process please select which colour leather and component type you would like.  

We will provide you with a heavy canvas lining but if you would like to make your bag more bespoke please feel free to bring along your own lining. You will need around half a metre of 160cm wide heavy weight fabric lining.

Machines

You have the option to work with domestic or industrial sewing machines. We are very lucky to be sponsored by Tysew Sewing Machines and we have a number of different machines all fitted with servo motors which are’ slow speed motors so they are really easy to use and beginner friendly. . 

It is totally possible to make this bag on a domestic sewing machine so if you are more comfortable using one of those it’s no problem at all!

We highly recommend you using our industrial machines in this course to really give your bag that professional look.

Timetable, Booking & Time
To view our timetable click here. This course runs from 9:30-15:30 weekdays and 10.30am-4:30pm weekends.
Once you have viewed the timetable and decided which date(s) you would like to attend please click “add to cart” on the course page. During the checkout please write in the dates. 
Capacity & Course times
Our classes are very small (max. 4 students per class) so there is plenty of one-to-one tuition. Courses tend to fill-up fast so if your requested course date is already fully booked we will be in touch to discuss alternative dates that suit you.

Tea (&herbal tea) and coffee and biscuits are provided.

All classes run with a minimum of only 1 person so you can have peace of mind that once you have booked your place you know nothing will change.

On the day:
We will have a half lunch break together and lunch will be provided for you. We will have a selection of bread cheese, ham, and salad. If you have any specific dietary requirements please bring your own lunch.  Coffee / tea and a few snacks will also be provided to keep up our energy throughout the day. Please bring your own drinking water.
 

Locations
We have just relocated from Hove to Lancing
Unit 7, Suite1, 44 Chartwell Road Lancing Business Centre, Lancing, West Sussex BN15 8UE. Once you have booked the course you will receive an email with driving directions and public transport info. If you arrive by train it takes roughly 10 minutes to walk from Lancing station to the studio. There is free parking on site.
Taster and 1 Day Courses Godalming, 10a Church St, GU7 1EH. Surrey
Located in a gorgeous shop owned by "I made this craft" just off the High street. There are a few paying car parks located about 5 minutes walk. If you are arriving by train, Godalming station is the closest and is within walking distance to the shop.
