Leather Goods Sampling and Production
Here at RJ Leather Studio we pride ourselves on utmost quality of leather craftsmanship in handbag making. We specialise in soft turned leather handbags using industrial sewing machines, achieving a very high standard professional finish product. We work with chrome tanned and vegtan leathers.
Our focus is to support all start up brands and designers by providing a service in product development, sampling and small production runs.
Our sampling is charged at £35 per hour. We can assist you with creating the pattern from a spec sheet and then producing the sample. The pattern costs and sample cost are shown below. Once an initial sample has been made, we will then provide you with a cost per unit for production. Our production is done in house my our highly skilled production team, we charge £25 an hour for production. Maximum of 20 units per style/colour.
Our production studio is set up for both leather and fabric handbag.
Small simple clutch sampling - £100 for the pattern - (£100 - £150) for the sample. Total = £200-£250
Medium size bag sampling - £150 for the pattern - (£200 - £250) for the sample. Total = £350 - £400
Large size bag sampling - £200 for the pattern - (£300 - £600) for the sample. Total = £500 - £800
