It always surprises people when I say you can sew leather bags at home on your domestic sewing machine. It’s how I started my own leather bag-making journey—working on my old Bernina Record domestic machine. I wanted to share my love for bag making and show you just how easy and accessible it can be. All of our leather bag-making kits have been meticulously designed to be achievable on a domestic sewing machine.

The Barnady Leather Tote is a versatile and stylish design that’s perfect for every occasion. It can be styled as a spacious tote for carrying all your essentials, or you can easily create a more compact version by cinching the middle, making it the perfect day-to-night bag. This bag has a handy external zipped pocket, an internal zipped pocket, and a zipped internal divider, allowing you to keep your items organized. The solid base makes it practical for carrying larger items like laptops and books.

The fixed bugatti handles add to the sophisticated design, and the detachable crossbody strap gives you the option for hands-free wear, adding extra versatility to your bag.
